Advanced Wetting Technologies Pty Ltd (AWT) and Surfactant Technologies Australia Pty Ltd (STA) develop and commercialise patented surfactant technologies for agriculture, industrial applications and firefighting foam.

Developed by Dr Raymond John Roberts, the technology operates differently from conventional surfactants. Its patented formulation is not limited by micelle formation, enabling improved wetting, spreading and liquid performance at lower use rates, while supporting the development of Zero-fluorine and Zero-PFAS formulations.

Through STA, this technology is being advanced for the firefighting foam sector, helping manufacturers improve foam performance without relying on fluorinated chemistry.
